Hi! I’m Zaira, a 17-year-old student from Bolivia who enjoys learning, reading, and spending meaningful time with the people I love. I work hard to maintain strong grades because my education is very important to me. I’m especially interested in math and science because I like solving problems and understanding how things work, and I hope to study engineering in the future. I love reading and writing poetry, and I also play the keyboard because music helps me relax and express myself. I enjoy staying active through basketball, volleyball, and soccer, mainly for the teamwork and fun. Cooking and baking are also very important to me, and I love sharing meals as a way to connect. During my exchange year, I hope to grow academically, experience American school life, and truly become part of my host family while creating meaningful memories together.
